Holiday Tea at the Palace

On December 29th, 2012 I attended a holiday tea at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.  It was part of the Greater Bay Area Costume Guild calendared events.  (See links below).   I was able to adjust a 1883 bustle I made ages ago and wore only once.  I love the early 80's bustle period and this worked out for the event. From the French Room the view of the Tea Room.  This area of the hotel originally was the carriage drive through for patrons.  After the 1906 earthquake it was rebuilt and enclosed to be a space for entertaining.
